Absolut's Vision of Mexico: Part 2

More on Absolut vodka's print advertisement that envisions a Mexico that reclaims the lands it has lost to the U.S. - Story / Here is the link to the ad - Image

Absolut has a blog that discusses its well known series of print advertisements, including its Mexico ad. Here is the link - In An Absolut World / Go to their site and make your opinion known!

Here is the comment I left on their site:

This ad tells you everything you need to know about Absolut vodka's opinion of the United States. They see us as a bunch of idiots who somehow would not see this ad as truly offensive.

Well, we do. And, we get the message. I am truly grateful that I do not drink Absolut, and I never will. It also tells Americans what Absolut thinks of our reactions by posting all of our comments in a gray type that is difficult to read.

Good try, Absolut! But, you have lost. This story is spreading like wildfire across the Net, and soon Americans from all walks of life will understand who and what Absolut is.
