Wal-Mart's Mission Now An Obsession

Wal-Mart is 100% dedicated to low prices. So much so that it will do anything to get them. They deal with suppliers with an iron fist, insisting on a certain price. The suppliers then do what they will to meet that price, export jobs, ignore slavery conditions in those overseas workplaces, and ignore whatever costs there may be. America's workers are paying with low wages, slashed benefits, and the outsourcing of their jobs. Wal-Mart is so driven by low prices that they even have a low profit margin. What this shows is that Wal-Mart is pathological in its mission. They are so obsessed with keeping prices low that they are blind to everything else, mainly the plight of their employees. Low wages, low benefits and a staggering 50% turnover rate show how people come last at Wal-Mart. The drive for money is ruining our nation. Wal-Mart's drive for the bottom line is ruining people's lives.
