Peter Greengrass is about to release his story of Flight 93. The movie has undergone a recent title change from "Flight 93" to "United 93." Even the trailer is tough to watch, so I can't imagine how tough it will be to actually see the movie. Let's hope that Mr. Greengrass does an honorable job with this film.

The new "Poseidon" trailer (3a) is now available in high definition. This is the trailer being shown before "V for Vendetta." Also available in HD is the ShoWest reel being shown at the ShoWest Convention. The file sizes are big, but for this film, worth it. Check them out, folks!

For those of you asking, would Vin Diesel or Paul Walker be back for a new "Fast and the Furious," here's your answer: Neither! Whether it be cost cutting or whatever, the new "Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift" instead features Lucas Black and Shad 'Bow Wow' Gregory Moss as two drift racers who run into a Tokyo crime kingpin. The film's out in June and the trailer's available on Yahoo!

"Poseidon" is on its way, with a new trailer, and a new poster! The trailer is reportedly being shown before "V for Vendetta." The trailer is also online, but it currently only available as a small size. So, if you're going to see "V," do that instead! The poster, meanwhile, has the catch of telling us the movie opens up on May Day. "Mayday," get it?

Legendary director Sidney Lumet is back, and he's working with.....Vin Diesel? OK. Well, the film still looks good, a humorous courtroom film all about a mobster who wants to defend himself. I look forward to seeing the results!

Robert Altman, Honorary Oscar Winner, is bringing radio to the silver screen with "A Prairie Home Companion." With an all-star cast, the film combines a filmed radio show with back-stage comedy and drama. Will there be overlapping dialogue and characters galore? You betcha!

Will Ferrell takes on NASCAR in "Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby." The trailer is online. Featuring John C. Reilly as Ferrell's race partner, this comedy looks like it could be pretty funny stuff. To give you an idea how easily this movie got the greenlight: the producer's pitch to Sony Pictures: "Will Ferrell as a NASCAR driver." That's all it took!

Memo to the owners of the S.S. Poseidon: If you see filmmakers like Wolfgang Peterson coming towards your ship, run like heck! Once again, the Poseidon is doing the barrel roll thing in "Poseidon," a remake of the classic disaster movie, "The Poseidon Adventure." The original is one of my all-time favorite movies. I think everything about it still holds up. So, we'll see how the remake turns out. I think Peterson is the right choice for director. But, the cast seems lacking, especially in light of the original's line up. But, we'll see. The trailer is something, and promises one heck of a ride!

Watching the "Miami Vice" trailer, you're waitng for the cool music, the fast cars, the hot women. Instead you get "Collateral." Didn't we just see that one? For all of us who are big fans of the series, it's hard to imagine the big-budget Michael Mann movie would drain away all the things we loved about the TV show. But, from this trailer, it looks like that's the case. C'mon, Michael, where's the magic? Let's hope it finds its way into the movie.
